Plan for the destination market.
Product classification, ingredient eligibility and claims come before artwork.
Build a market-specific review file
An oral pouch is not automatically an eligible food supplement in every country. Intended use, ingredients, route of use, claims and presentation affect the assessment. Engage a qualified local regulatory adviser before launch.
| Market | Review topics |
|---|---|
| United States | Product classification and intended ingestion, dietary-ingredient status, any applicable new dietary ingredient pathway, manufacturing obligations, labeling and substantiated claims. |
| European Union | Country-level food supplement rules, ingredient and novel-food status, authorized claims, mandatory language and responsible food-business operator. |
| United Kingdom | GB/NI differences, food or medicinal classification, eligible claims and ingredient requirements. |
| Australia / New Zealand | Separate regulatory frameworks, category/classification, ingredient eligibility, intended use and market-operator responsibilities. |
Agree the export scope
A quotation defines the available trade terms, required documents and shipping route. The importer remains responsible for the permissions and obligations assigned to it under the agreed contract and destination rules. No blanket “FDA approved,” “CE certified” or worldwide market-clearance claim is made.
